With Sencote®, the friction of high-velocity machine drive liquefies the fasteners' coating, resulting in easier driving of nails and staples through tough hardwoods. As the coating dries, it fuses the fastener to wood fibers, resulting in more consistent holding power.

Weatherex II is SENCO's premium choice in galvanized nails. The Weatherex II galvanized nail offers a thicker electro-plated zinc coating (a minimum of .0005) than the standard SENCO galvanized nail. In addition to the zinc plating, the Weatherex II nails receive a yellow chromate rinse which provides excellent rust resistance and a gold color appearance. The Weatherex II nails conforms to requirements for Class 1 galvanized fasteners (ASTM A641-91 specification). The Weatherex II nails represent SENCO's best choice in galvanized nails.
